La Palma Bakery was a small hidden gem in the San Fernando Valley. Recently was able to stop by a give it a try. The Pan Dulce was so delicious and so soft. Strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bakery to shop from and the customer service was so spot on.
Best conchas and Mexican bread hands down in all of the San Fernando valley!!!!! The service is remarkable & even when I have called in a pre order everything is packed fresh and just so incredibly delicious. Even people whom have never tasted Mexican sweet bread fall in love with it & can't get enough of trying all the different kinds.
I grew up in SF with the original owners and loved walking in with my grandparents or mom just to buy pan dulce. I was saddened when the place was sold because I thought things would change. To my surprise, LaPalma Bakery still makes the same recipe and this place still maintains the home-style quality. The workers are amazing and so kind. Nothing has changed regarding LaPalma's service and quality. I have to say I have been to other panaderia's, but this location is THE BEST! If you are going in to work/school, and want something warm - AND FRESH, this is the place.
